CMD controller
The CMD controller (without cover in the illustration) controls all of the
processes in the CMD V5 and the communication to the higher-order system
unit.
The following functions are integrated on the CMD controller:
Measurement of banknotes
Photosensor control
Motor control and module supervision for up to two double dispensing units
and one single dispensing unit
Cassette control
The CMD controller contains a master controller and two slave controllers
which are connected via the CAN bus. The master controller is the central
control unit and runs the process control and the USB communication to the
PC. The slave controller runs the time-critical tasks.
