Open safe mode
Symbol for the open safe mode
The timer bar on the right side displays
the remaining time.
The current expiring part of the time
bar blinks.
The open safe mode is active if the High End cassette is completely inserted in
a Cash Media Dispenser Version 5 und and the safe is open at the same time.
If the safe is close regularly, the High End cassette switches into the safe
mode.
The banknote toning technique switches to the transport mode when the High
End cassette is removed.
The open safe mode is fitted with a timer which causes the triggering of the
banknotes toning technique if it expires. This is a protection against unlocked
safes.
A signal tone is triggered by the alarm timer 15 seconds before the open safe
timer finishes (15 seconds = factory setting of the alarm timer).

The time window for the open safe timer and the alarm timer can be
set with the application program - Cash Supply Manager (CSM).
The Open Safe Timer is deactivated as standard.
Please handle the cassette carefully – in this mode, the banknote
toning technique is active.
