Using the WebGUI interface of the POS Device HUB

Media Playing:
In case the graphical sub system of the POS Device HUB is started you may choose
these seetings to allow video playing and picture showing in on an eventually
connected display at the rear back.
o
Movies need to be transferred as media files with a secury copy tool such as
WinSCP (use the user
media-upload
). The process is the same as for firmware
update.
o
Movies may have the extension "mp4" , "mpeg", "mov", "avi"
o
Pictures need to have the extension "bmp", "jpg", "png"
o
The order of playing the files is as follow: first all pictures will be shown in
alphabetical order then the movies will be played in alphabetical order.
o
Please note: for media playing it is necessary to enable the graphical sub
system of the POS Device HUB: you need to activate on the page
"Configuration / Boot Behaviour" the setting
"Start POS Device HUB with
Graphical Interface"
Additionally you may choose
when
media playing shall be peformed with the setting
"Select when to play pictures and/or movies".
This can be done
•
contineously (select
"Play always"
)
•
or only in case no tablet is docked, or
•
or only in case no tablet has access to the POS Device HUB ( "claimed")
•
or only in case no tablet is docked or has access to the POS Device HUB
