LED Service Menu during BOOT and operational LED
States
Usually it is required to have a network connection with a browser interface to configure the
POS Device HUB. However, this requires that a valid network configuration already exists.
When booting the POS Device HUB for the first time it is configured to use the DHCP proto-
col for obtaining a valid TCP /IP network address. Of course, in configurations without a
DHCP server it might be necessary to use static IP addresses.
For such situations it is possible to configure the POS Device HUB with the so-called
Menu
Button
at the rear back of the Docking Unit. When holding the Menu Button pressed during
boot the POS Device HUB enters the LED Service Menu and indicates this by showing a blink-
ing green state on the LED bar at the front of the POS device HUB. With the Menu Button
you can navigate through the different menu items by pressing the Menu Button shortly.
