2.9 Safety instructions for inspection and installation work
The operator must ensure that all inspection and installation work is carried out by authorised and
qualified personnel, who are sufficiently informed from their own detailed study of the operating
instructions.
Work to the product/installation must only be carried out when at a standstill. It is mandatory that the
procedure described in the installation and operating instructions for shutting down the product/unit be
complied with.
Directly after completion of the work, all safety and protective devices must be refitted or reactivated.
2.10 Unauthorised modification and manufacture of spare parts
Unauthorized modification and production of spare parts endanger the safety of the product/personnel
and invalidate the safety declarations issued by the manufacturer
Changes to the product are only permitted after consultation with the manufacturer. Original spare
parts and accessories authorised by the manufacturer serve safety purposes. The use of other parts
cancels the liability for the resulting consequences.
2.11 Improper use
The operating safety of the supplied product is only guaranteed for conventional use in accordance
with Section 4 of the operating instructions. The limit values must on no account fall under or exceed
those specified in the catalogue/data sheet.

Transport and interim storage
The tank is delivered mounted on a pallet. Immediately after receiving the product:
Check the product for damage in transit,
In the event of damage in transit, take the necessary actions with the freight forwarder within the
respective time limits.
CAUTION! Risk of damage!
Incorrect transport and interim storage can cause damage to the product.
Plastic tanks are impact-sensitive. The tank surfaces should not be exposed to any
point forces.
The tank must be drained completely before transport.
Transporting at temperatures below 5°C increases the danger of material damage
caused by improper handling or the effects of impacts as a result of the material
properties!
A sufficiently large pallet must be used for transport in order to ensure load distribution
across the entire support surface!
When using a crane for loading or transport, the tank is to be raised with no fewer than
2 wide, sufficiently load-bearing transport loops, which are to be placed around the
base of the tank!
Tank attachments and connection ports may not be used as supports for transport
equipment!
Short-term interim storage outdoors is possible, although direct sunlight and
temperatures above 40°C should be avoided.
