- Remove the inner elastic ring [6544B] from the lantern [3142].
- Slide out the complete coupling assembly [7010] + [3011].
- Remove the centering O’Ring [4610A].
- If necessary extract the ball bearing [3011] after the elastic
coupling [6544A] was removed.
9.3.7 ASSEMBLY OF THE BEARING BRACKET
9.3.7.1 ASSEMBLY OF BEARING BRACKET TYPE TM
- Slide the lip seal [4300B], the lower bearing cover [3262] and the
washer [2461B] onto the shaft [2100].
- Fit the ball bearing [3011B] in place and slide the spacer sleeve
[2461A] on the shaft [2100].
- Slide the assembly into the bearing bracket housing [3142].
- Slide the self-aligning ball bearing [3011B] onto the shaft and into
the bearing bracket housing.
- Fit the upper bearing cover [3261] in place upon the bearing
bracket [3142] and fasten with screws [6577K].
- Fasten lower bearing cover [3262] with screws [6570F].
- Press the lip seal [4300B] onto the bearing cover [3262].
- Slide the upper column [2463] onto the shaft and press the lip seal
[4300A] to its location onto the upper bearing cover [3261].
- Insert the key [6742].
- Slide the half coupling [7221] onto the shaft.
- Install the support washer [7419] upon the half coupling and
tighten the bearing assembly with the nut [7411].
9.3.7.2 ASSEMBLY OF BEARING BRACKET TYPE TH WITH
MOTOR FRAME V1
- Install a new centering O’Ring [4610A] into the groove of the
bearing housing [3142].
- Slide the shaft [2100] throughout the lantern [3142].
