It might be difficult to remove motor from matting flange (tight
assembly or corrosion). Use screwdrivers to lever-up motor flange and
separate motor from pump.
9.3.6.1
MOTOR ASSEMBLY TYPE CS AND EM :
-
Remove coupling protecting cover [7450].
-
Remove motor [8010] fastening screws/bolts [6577C].
-
Separate motor [8010] from column [1340] or lantern [3160].
-
Lift the motor [8010] and slide it with the pump shaft [2100] out of
the column [1340] or lantern [3160].
-
Put down the motor+shaft assembly and make sure it will not roll
over.
-
Remove fastening screws [7412] from rigid coupling [7212].
-
Put down the shaft [2100].
-
Remove the 2 dog point screws [7416] from pump side half
coupling.
-
Remove the key [6742].
-
Remove the 2 locking screws [7416] from the motor half coupling
and slide out the half coupling.
9.3.6.2
MOTOR ASSEMBLY TYPE EM ONLY :
-
Remove the lantern fastening bots from the mating plate if
necessary and remove the lantern.

MOTOR ASSEMBLY TYPE TM AND TH :
DISMANTLING OF BEARING BRACKET TYPE TM :
-
Remove fastening screws [6577B] from the bearing housing [3142].
-
Slide out the bracket ass.+shaft from the column and put it down
onto the floor.
Danger from squeeze points. Depending on mating plate size it
may be necessary to use slings to lift the plate prior to
dismantling.
The last column can remain fastened to the mating plate if
necessary.
