CAUTION.

In the event that a warning lamp or
buzzer activates during use, STOP engine
immediately, investigate the cause and/or
contact your authorised Williams Dealer.
Warning Lights
Starting Procedure
1
Turn battery isolator on (see page 16).

Secure any loose ropes that could get
sucked into the jet unit.
3
Ensure the shift lever is in neutral position.
The maximum recommended load includes
the weight of all persons on board, all
provisions and personal effects and any
equipment not included in the boat weight.
4
Connect kill cord to switch.
WARNING.
Personal injury may
result if not attached.

Turn key to start.

Test kill cord for correct functionality
(see Safety Check! section on page 17).
WARNING.
When loading the craft,
never exceed the maximum
recommended load.
Always load the craft
carefully and distribute loads appropriately to
maintain design trim (approximately level).
Avoid placing heavy weights high up.
Checking the Oil Level
Wait 10 minutes after engine has stopped
to accurately check oil level.
•
The oil level should be between the
Minimum and Maximum level holes on the
dipstick (right).
•
Use only the recommended grade of oil
(SAE 10W30 or SAE 15W40). Refer to
Yanmar Engine Operator’s Manual.
•
Do not overfill.
CAUTION.
Use of different oil to the
specified type may cause seizure or
early wear to inner parts, leading to shortening
of the engine’s service life.
Picture shows the dipstick for 445 and 505
models; on 565 and 625 models, the holes
are replaced by lines, with the top being the
upper limit and the bottom being lower limit.
