To ground the mast, proceed as follows:
1.
Attach the mast bracket clamp to the mast base tube
by inserting the bracket nub into the middle hole of the
base tube. Tighten clamp.
2.
Place the cables at the base of the mast.
3.
Attach one end of each of the cables to the mast brack
-
et clamp and tighten.
4.
Take the loose end of one cable, center it between two
tripod legs and extend it away from the mast as far as it
will go. Repeat this step for the two other cables, placing
each between the unoccupied tripod legs.
5.
Position and space 5 stakes on each cable evenly from
the end of the cable furthest from the tripod to within
1.5m / 5 ft. of the tripod.
6.
Drive the stakes into the ground using the hammer.
Make certain that all of the cables are held firmly to the
ground in order to increase grounding effect.
