6 . 4 S etup procedure
B efore starting the actual parameter adjustment of a P ro fi bus PA
sensor , the address setting must fi rst be carried out . Y ou will fi nd a
detailed description in the operating instructions manual of the
indicating and adjustment module or in the online help of
PACT ware or
DTM .

I n the menu item " A djustment unit " you select the physical unit in which
the adjustment should be carried out , e . g . mbar , bar , psi …
T he position correction compensates the in fl uence of the mounting
position or static pressure on the measurement . I t does not in fl uence
the adjustment values .

Y ou can fi nd the data on the type label on the instrument or in the
menu items of the min ./ max . adjustment .
T he indicating and adjustment module enables the adjustmetn without
fi lling or pressure . T hanks to this , you can carry out your settings
already in the factory without the instrument having to be installed .
T he actual measured value is also displayed in the menu items for
min ./ max . adjustment .
I n this menu item you select the adjustment unit as well as the unit for
the temperature indication in the display .
T o select the adjustment unit ( in the example switching over from bar
to mbar ) you have to proceed as follows : 3
