WARNING
To test the broil element, perform the follow-
ing steps:
1.
Use an ohmmeter and set the range switch
to R x 1.
2.
With no power applied, disconnect one
wire from the inner and the outer element
terminals. You should obtain a reading of
approximately 16
Ω
.
If the readings are not within the ranges shown,
the element is defective, and should be re-
placed.
To test the bake element, perform the follow-
ing steps:
1.
Use an ohmmeter and set the range switch
to R x 1.
2.
With no power applied, disconnect one
wire from the element terminals. You
should obtain a reading of approximately
25
Ω
.
If the reading is not within the range shown,
the element is defective, and should be re-
placed.
