Usage
2. Stop up the opening in the lid
with the included stopper.
3. Put the lid on the pot and
secure it with the clasps.
4. Apply full heat until some
steam exits from the soft
pressure valve. Now you can
turn down the heat supply.
Cooking
You can use the multipurpose pot for briefly precooking (blanching) food,
especially vegetables, before deep freezing. This neutralises the enzymes and
preserves colour, aroma and taste.
For using the multipurpose pot as cooking pot an ordinary stainless lid Ø 28
cm can be ordered from Westfalia under the article number 16 49 21. A glass
lid Ø 28 cm is available under the article number 64 89 80.
Preparing Mullet Wine
1. Put the wine (up to 15 l) and the other ingredients into the pot and put the
lid on.
2. Secure it with the clasps and insert the juice pipe with the attached hose
clamp.
3. Apply heat until some steam exits from the soft pressure valve. Now you
can turn down the heat source and dispense mullet wine from the juice
pipe.
4. The lid can remain closed during the entire process, this way neither
alcohol nor aroma are lost. Only very little energy is required.
