When „LOW BATTERY“ symbol
blinks in the display, replace all batteries with new ones. Do not mix
old and new batteries. It may shorten the battery life, or cause the device to malfunction.
„LOW BATTERY“ symbol
does not appear when the batteries run out.

Please ensure to distinguish positive polar (+) and negative polar (-) of batteries when replacing bat-
teries.

Batteries, which have a fluid on the surface or have been modified, must not be inserted into the prod-
ucts.

Battery short circuit must be prevented.

Battery life varies with the ambient temperature and may be shorten at low temperatures.

The batteries may leak and cause a malfunction.

Use the specified batteries only. The batteries provided with the device are for testing monitor perfor-
mance and may have a shorter life.

Used batteries may leak and damage the main unit. Pleases observe the following points:

lf you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time (approximately three months or
more), remove the batteries.

Replace empty batteries with their polarities in the correct direction.
ABNORMAL HEARTBEAT SIGNAL
When the detects an irregular rhythm two or more times during the measurement, the Abnormal heartbeat
symbol will appear on the display with the measurement values.
An Abnormal heartbeat rhythm is defined as a rhythm that is 25% less or 25% more than the average rhythm
detected while the monitor is measuring the systollc and diastollc blood pressure.
