Prepare for operation and install correctly the removable inner seal ring of the cover (3), •
container (11), steam release valve (6) - see points “CLEANING OF THE STEAM RELEASE
VALVE AND INNER COVER”, “CLEANING OF THE COOKING CONTAINER».
Attention : It is prohibited to wash the removable seal ring (3), valve (6), container (11), cover
(2) in a dishwasher!
Please, read thoroughly “SAGE OPERATION RULES AND CONDITIONS” before use of the •
appliance for the fi rst time.
Attention ! The multi cooker and pressure-cooker is an appliance operated under pressure - it
is extremely important to maintain it properly and to clean regularly.
USER MANUAL
1. Operation commencement, adding of products
put the ingredients into the container (11) according to the recipe, add the required amount •
of water and spices. The total amount of the water and products may not exceed the maxi-
mum level mark (see the marking on the container).
Attention: it is important not to exceed the maximum level mark ad not to put too many
products into the appliance (see the marking on the container). Presence of foreign objects in
the work section or blocking of the ventilation holes can result in the appliance break down.
Attention: the total volume of the products that quickly and signi fi cantly expand while cook-
ing (pasta, milk, etc.) may not exceed 1/3 of the container capacity.
the outer surface of the container (11) must be dry. •
Note: to cook products using the “Steamer” program, see the “Steam Cooking” section.
Attention : every time before cooking thoroughly check cleanness of the steam release valve
(6), inner parts of the cover (2) - removable seal ring (3) and inner cover of the steam release
valve (17). Clean them if required (see the “MAINTENANCE” section).
Correctly install the removable seal ring (3) - strongly press it with your fi ngers lengthwise •
after installation. IMPORTANT: RING RIDGES (3) MUST FIT INTO THE SLOTS WITH A SLIGHT
CLICK - it is extremely important for the correct and durable operation of the appliance!
2. Selection of the cooking program
Insert the container (11) into the work section of the appliance. •
Attention: make sure there are no foreign objects inside the cooking section.
Put the cover (2) in the correct • “Closed” position (see Figure No. 1 point 5).
Make sure that the steam release valve is installed correctly. It must be closed, i.e. be in the •
position shown in Figure No. 3.
Fasten the condensate container (24). •
Connect the electric cord to the appliance, plug it in. After plugging in the appliance will •
switch to the program selection waiting mode - you will hear a sound signal, the indicator of
the HEATING/CANCELLATION button will blink.
