5.2 Positioning
Place the machine on a support base which is
suitable for correct and convenient use of the coffee
machine.
5.3 Hydraulic connection to the water
mains
In the versions with connection to the water
mains, follow the instructions below :

Connect the tube of the machine ( A ) to the water
mains and open the water mains tap ( B );
t
connect the machine drain ( C ) to the sewer drain.
5.1 Unpacking
t
Open the package, remove the internal protecti-
ve materials and extract the machine;
t after removing the packaging, check the condi-
tion of the appliance. If in doubt, do not use it
but contact the retailer directly.

On the water mains it is necessary to place a non-
return valve (D) up the line from the machine as set
forth by standards EN 1717.
The use of a softener is recommended if water
hardness is lower than 5°f.
If the pressure in the mains is greater than 2 bars, it
is advisable to install a pressure reducer.

Preparing the machine
The preparation of the machine and the instal-
lation operations must be carried out by qualified
personnel only. The installer must strictly follow the
indications provided in chapter “Warnings for the
Installer”.

Using the machine without all the installation
operations having been carried out by technical
personnel could damage it seriously.
