Use and Care
Prior to First Use: Hand wash new griddle and grates thoroughly with a
mild dishwashing liquid. Dry thoroughly with soft cloth or paper towel.

Owner’s Guide to set up grill for direct grilling (Image 1).
• After the coals are thoroughly hot (approximately 25 minutes), using
barbecue mitts or gloves, place cooking grate into grill. Place the
griddle into the cooking grate opening (Image 2, 3).
• Place the lid on the grill bowl, leaving lid damper open and pre-heat
the griddle and cooking grate for approximately 10-15 minutes.
• Lightly oil foods prior to placing in the hot griddle.
• Evenly distribute food over griddle surface, avoid clustering
foods. Close the grill lid. Use barbecue tongs to turn your food.
CaUTIOn: Using a metal spatula on the griddle surface can
cause damage to the porcelain-enamel finish.
• Do not remove the griddle until it is cold. Use care when lifting
the griddle out of the grill to avoid spilling remaining food/liquid.
• Hand wash griddle with warm soapy water after use. Soak in
water to remove stubborn particles before hand washing. Nylon
or soft abrasive pads/brushes may be used.
CaUTIOn: do not
use metallic pads/brushes or harsh abrasive soaps as these
will damage the porcelain-enamel finish. Thoroughly dry
griddle after washing.

Weber-stephen Products LLC (Weber

to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER, that this product will be free
from defects in material and workmanship from the date of
purchase as follows: 2 year(s) when assembled, and operated
in accordance with the printed instructions accompanying it.
Weber may require reasonable proof of your date of purchase.

This Limited Warranty shall be limited to the repair or
replacement of parts that prove defective under normal
use and service and which on examination shall indicate,
to Weber’s satisfaction, that they are defective. If Weber
confirms the defect and approves the claim, Weber will elect
to repair or replace such parts without charge. If you are
required to return defective parts, transportation charges must
be prepaid. Weber will return parts to the purchaser, freight
or postage prepaid. This Limited Warranty does not cover
any failures or operating difficulties due to accident, abuse,
misuse, alteration, misapplication, vandalism, improper
installation or improper maintenance or service, or failure
to perform normal and routine maintenance. Deterioration
or damage due to severe weather conditions such as hail,
hurricanes, earthquakes or tornadoes, discoloration due to
exposure to chemicals either directly or in the atmosphere,
is not covered by this Limited Warranty. Weber shall not be
liable under this or any implied warranty for incidental or
consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal
rights, and you may also have other rights,
which may vary.
