7.2.7. Moisture filter
The moisture filter is located on the tank and serves to retain any water from the connection to the compressed
air, in order to preserve the integrity of the machine.
It is necessary to empty it when filled with water by pushing upwards the piston under the filter.(fig.7.2.7)
7.2.8. Ooze shield protection
The Oooze shield protection serves to cover the hot part of the extruder from the cooling flow and to prevent the
rise of plastic material during the print.
If the protection gets damaged it may need to be replaced.
The replacement procedure involves these steps:
1. Unhook the protection from the left side (fig 7.2.8 a)
2. Unhook the protection from the right side (fig 7.2.8 b)
3. Lift the guard silicone upwards and then remove it downwards (fig 7.2.8 c)
To reassemble it, follow the instructions in reverse order. (fig 7.2.8 d)
