V. INSTALLATION
1.
Remove factory bumper as shown in Figure 1,
using 14mm and 17mm sockets. If vehicle is
equipped with a skidplate, use 8mm socket to
remove hardware that attaches it to bumper.
Keep all hardware.
2.
Attach bumper to frame through top mounting
holes as shown in Figure 2, using two factory
supplied 10mm shoulder head cap screws. Hand
tighten only at this time.
3.
Rotate bumper to align bottom mounting hole with
hole in frame. Install one 7/16-14 x 1 1/2 hex
head bolt on each side of bumper as shown in
Figure 3. Use one 7/16 flat washer under head of
bolt on each side and two 7/16 flat washers,
nominally, to shim between bumper and frame, as
shown in Figure 4.
