3.7 BOLT AND HYDRAULIC FITTING TORQUE
CHECKING BOLT TORQUE
The tables shown below give correct torque values for various bolts, hydraulic fittings and cap screws. Tighten all bolts to
the torques specified in chart unless otherwise noted. Check tightness of bolts periodically, using bolt torque chart as a
guide. Replace hardware with the same strength bolt.
7. Measure the length “L” from the same points as used in step 1. This
distance must be at least 1.5 inches greater than the distance measured in
step 1. If necessary, adjust the length of the PTO shaft by cutting the inner
and outer plastic guard tubes and inner and outer sliding profiles by the
same length. Round off all sharp edges and remove burrs before greasing
and reassembling shaft halves surrounding plastic shield components.
BOLT TORQUE VALUES
Always replace bolts with the same grade or class.
Tighten all bolts according to the following charts unless other wise specified.
