IMPORTANT
Do not tighten over 90 lb ft (122 N•m). This can cause too much stress and
wheel bolts could break under operating conditions.
3.3 GREASE POINTS AND SPECIFICATIONS
GREASE SPECIFICATI
ONS
1. Use an SAE multipurpose grease with extreme pressure (EP) performance. An
SAE multipurpose lithium based grease is also acceptable.
2. Use only a hand held grease gun.
3.
Wipe grease fittings with a clean cloth before greasing to avoid injecting dirt.
4.
Repair or replace broken fittings immediately.
5.
If fittings will not take grease remove and clean or replace the fittings. Also clean
grease from passageway.
GREASE POINTS
1. PTO
• Universal Joints (1)
2. PTO Front Support Bearing (2).
3. Auger Fold Cylinder Elbow Joint (3).
3. Check the wheel nuts for correct tightness. All wheel nuts must be at 450 -
500 ft-lbs.
