Walkabout Mother Bin Operator Manual

2.9   LOADING

The Walkabout Mother Bin is designed to hold 4000 bushels of grain safely. 

Before loading, however, take the following precautions:

1.  Ensure each tire is touching the ground for even transfer of weight to the 

axles. Park on level ground and check each wheel.

2.  Wheel chocks (1) must be place in front of and behind the front tires on 

both sides.

3.  Clear immediate area of all bystanders.
4.  Use the switch (2) on the front of the vertical auger to open the tarp.

NOTE: If the tarp is not connected to the tractor power receptacle, the tarp can 

be manually opened or closed with the crank provided. See the Agri-Cover 

manual provided to correctly connect the crank to the tarp.

 DANGER

Flowing grain traps and suffocates victim in seconds! Victim can die in seconds in flowing 

grain!

 DANGER

Exercise extreme caution while setting, loading or unloading the Walkabout Mother Bin. The following dangerous 

situations exist: Drowning, rotating driveline, rotating auger and crushing or pinching due to moving pivot auger.
