1. Prepare the paint according to the manufacturer's recommendations. This is probably one of the
most important steps towards trouble-free use of the generator! Check what nozzle and pressure
the manufacturer recommends in the technical data sheet of a given paint. Remove any film that
may have formed on top of the paint. If necessary, thin the paint (according to the manufacturer's
recommendations). Finally, drain the paint through a thin nylon filter bag (available from most
paint retailers) to remove particles containing contaminants that could clog the spray tip or damage
the seal.
3 Unwind the hose and connect one end to
the ¼” gun. Use two wrenches to make
tightening safe.
5 Before each use and approximately every
2-3 hours, apply directly to the piston
through the hole above the pump 2-3
drops of vaseline oil, which you will find in
the set with the unit. Do this every time
you use the generator.
2 Screw the nozzle holder (with the nozzle
and nozzle gasket inside) onto the gun's
7/8 thread.
4 Connect the other end of the generator hose.
6 Check the electrical service. Make sure the
electrical outlet is properly grounded.
Longer
extension cords may affect generator
performance. Use more shower hose
(maximum extra 45 meters), not a longer
extension cord. Working on a poor quality
extension cord will damage the control
unit.

7 Connect the generator. First, make sure the on/off
switch is set to off and the pressure adjustment
potentiometer is turned fully counter-clockwise.
Connect the sprayer to a grounded electrical outlet
that is at least 10 feet (3 m) away from the spray
area to reduce the risk of sparks, fumes, or dust
particles.
Clockwise: stronger/higher pressure
Counter-
clockwise:
weaker/lower pressure
