To set the time or time zone:
1. Use
the
Up
and
Down
arrow buttons to select the field to change.
2. Use
the
Left
arrow to decrease the value and the
Right
arrow to increase the value for that field.
3. Press
the
OK
button when the values are set correctly.
Note:
The VP-404/4048 reboots to save the changes, if you modify the time zone.
4.3.13 Alarm
Use the
Alarm
menu to define what constitutes an alarm condition and how the VP-404/4048 reacts
when such a condition occurs. You can configure an alarm condition to be generated when motion is
detected by the camera, if the video signal is lost from a camera, if the disk space is too low, if there is a
disk error or if pos event. Once the alarm is generated, you can set the alarm notification through a beep, a
message, a video popup, voice call, or E-mail.
The Alarm menu has the following submenus:
E-Mail -
enables you to set up an E-mail address and verify it is working correctly.
Video Popup (sec) -
sets the time for which a camera is displayed on your monitor when an alarm is
generated.
Voice Call -
enables you to set conditions that generate a voice call when an alarm is triggered.
Set Action -
sets the action that will generate an alarm condition for each camera.
Note:
The
Voice Call
option will only be displayed in the menu if the voice modem function is selected
from the serial port menu.
To enter E-mail details:
1. Select
the
option from the
Alarm
menu.
2. Press
the
Right
button to confirm. The E-Mail submenu is displayed.
