Answering Machine
This system is equipped with a Digital Answering Machine. The following are its features:
•
The LCD screen shows how many messages are in the memory.
•
You can store up to 14 minutes worth of messages including your own outgoing message.
•
The maximum time for each message is 3 minutes.
•
The LCD screen cannot display that there is more than “99” stored messages.
•
You can listen to your messages from either the Base Unit, Portable Handset, or from any other phone.
•
You can answer a call at any time while the outgoing message is playing from the Base Unit or Portable Handset
by pressing the
button.
Note #1:
When the memory is full (14 minutes), the LCD screen on both the Base Unit and the Portable Handset will
show

Setting Number Of Rings Before The Digital Answering Machine Will Activate
This feature is set on the Base Unit and you have a choice between 2 rings or 4 rings.
Note:
The default setting for the number of rings is 4.
You can change the number of rings to activate the Digital Answering Machine by:
1. Press
button on the Base Unit.
2. Press

buttons until you reach the
screen.
3. Press

button.
4. Press

buttons until you reach the
screen.
5. Press

button.
6. Press

buttons until you reach the number of rings you prefer.
