Troubleshooting

Fault

Possible causes and rectification

The Vacuum

cleaner suction

force is declining.

The Premium Filter bag FP140/150 is probably full.

•

Exchange the Premium Filter bag.

The Suction channel of the Vacuum cleaner or

that of another connected device is blocked.

•

Clean the Suction channel of the Vacuum cleaner

and/ or that of the connected device.

•

Ensure that the suction value display in level 3 does not light

up yellow. Otherwise exchange the Premium Filter bag.

The Motor protection filter is extremely dirty.

•

Clean or exchange the Motor protection filter

(chapter “4.2.2 Cleaning and exchanging the Kobold

VK150 Motor protection filter” on page 68).

The Vacuum

cleaner will set

itself to a different

performance

level and will

become louder.

After prolonged use, with high ambient temperature or

when the Filter bag is full or blocked, the Kobold will

set itself to a different performance level as a result of

overheating so that the suction performance can no longer

be regulated. In this case the valve will open automatically

allowing air to flow directly into the inside of the motor.

•

Check the Suction channel and the connected

accessory parts.

•

Remove the blockages and exchange the

Premium Filter bag if necessary.

•

Let the motor cool down.

Device is not

working.

The connector plug of the connecting cable

may not be properly engaged.

•

Ensure the a connection has been

established correctly (clicking).
