CheCKIng roller BruSheS
The green tufts of bristles must be longer than the yellow tufts
(
, Fig. 4.9 on page 70). Otherwise the Kobold EB370 Electronic brush will
not have the desired brushing effect.
•
Check from time to time if the green tufts of bristles are still longer than the
yellow tufts (
, Fig. 4.9).
•
If they are not, exchange the roller brushes.
4.3.2 exchanging the brushes

•
Push the green release key
.
The front cowling will disengage.
•
Hold the release key
and open the front cowling on
both sides.
•
Pull the grey roller brushes
on the left and right hand side out of the
tunnel.
•
Clean the carrier shaft
if necessary.
InSertIng the roller BruSheS
•
Insert the roller brush with the green end into the side with the green symbol
on the grey cover and the other roller brush into the opposite side.
•
Always change both roller brushes. Applying a slight twist, push the roller
brushes onto the drive shaft until they are completely inserted.
•
Check if the brushes are still firmly in place on the drive shaft.
•
Close the front cowling using both hands. Make sure that you can hear the
front cowling engage.
•
If the front cowling will not close, then the roller brushes are not inserted far
enough.
