CloSIng the FIlter unIt
•
Push the filter cover shut until the cover lock engages.
If the Premium Filter bag Kobold VK140/150 is not placed in the frame correctly
or if it is not placed in the frame at all, the Kobold‘s filter unit will not close. The
same applies if a wrong filter is inserted.
•
If the filter cover can only be closed with difficulty, do not use force. Instead,
ensure that the filter bag has been inserted correctly.
4.2.2 Cleaning and exchanging the Kobold VK150 motor
protection filter
The Motor protection filter serves to protect your Kobold VK150 Vacuum cleaner
from pollution. To ensure a long service life for your Vacuum cleaner, make sure
to maintain the Motor protection filter regularly.
Note! Risk of damage from improper use!
• Use the device only with the inserted Motor protection filter.
The Motor protection filter can be cleaned as many times as necessary. It must
only be exchanged if the filter bag has been damaged or if the Motor protection
filter is extremely dirty.
•
Pull the green lever
and open the cover of the filter unit.
•
Press the shackle
of the frame of the motor protection filter
until the
Motor protection filter is released from the fastening device (see Fig. 4.8 on
page 69).

• Do not clean the Motor protection filter with water or other fluids.

If the Motor protection filter has been damaged or is extremely dirty, insert a
new one.
The Motor protection filter can be purchased at your customer representa-
tive or at the service centre (see chapter “8 Services” on page 91).

•
Insert the Motor protection filter. Make sure that the Motor protection filter
snaps into place.
•
Close the filter unit.
