4. Whitelist/Blackllist
Whitelist defines the base stations that are going to be used.
Blacklist defines the base stations that are NOT going to be used.
3. Fixed - This mode locks the base station to the Cell ID specified. First Press
to get the current list
of base stations detected. Enter the Base station code desired and then press
to save the
settings.
4. Strongest Signal – This mode selects the GSM Base Station with the strongest signal reception.
5.3.16 Event Trigger
An Event Trigger is a mechanism for the device to perform a predefined action when an event occurs. The
device monitors each channel for the defined events. When one of those events occurs in a channel, the
device will perform the corresponding action in the same channel. The Event Triggers defined are shown
below.
Defined Events:
1.
– Channel ACD is less than the time (in seconds) specified.
2.
– Channel ASR is less than the percentage (%) specified.
3.
– This specifies a time duration to repeatedly execute the action specified.
4.
– This refers to outgoing GSM calls that has no
ringback tones returned from the network and the call is not answered. This type of calls could be
sensitive to trigger SIM blocking when a number of them occur consecutively. This event allows you
to set a limit on this type of calls in order to trigger the action defined.
5. # of consecutive unanswered calls >= xxx – This event monitors the number of the number of
consecutive calls that are unanswered. When the number is greater than or equal to the number
specified, the predefined action is then executed. This event can be an indication that the SIM card
