Starting the engine

Warm-up instructions

– Start the engine.

– After a longer period of standstill and particularly at tempera-

tures around or below the freezing point the wheel loader must
be warmed up by running the engine at medium speed.

– Drive the wheel loader warm by driving it in gear “1” (turtle) for

about 5...10 minutes with approx. 1/2 engine speed. If possible
the bucket or lifting frame should be moved several times by
actuating the control levers for the working hydraulics.
