ment panel)
Faulty values from potentiometers,
controls not calibrated. Fault in communi-
cation
Fault in “Diagnosis”, “Neutral”, “Active
station”, “Sync” buttons on Flying Bridge
Faults in internal voltages in control
module
Abnormal fuel temperature or boost
pressure signals
Internal fault in control module
System has read/write fault when read-
ing/writing to internal memory (RAM)
Internal fault in program memory
Engine coolant temperature too high
If boost pressure is abnormal the system
will assume a boost pressure that is a
function of engine speed. This can reduce
performance and increase exhaust
emissions. If fuel temperature is abnormal
the system will assume a fuel tempera-
ture of 40°C (104°F). If actual fuel
temperature is lower than this there is a
risk of power surges. Higher actual
temperature results in reduced perform-
ance
If the engine coolant temperature is too
high the system will reduce the volume
of fuel injected until temperature has
normalized
Check potentiometers, terminals and wiring on the
Flying Bridge. Recalibrate control if necessary.
Erase diagnostic trouble code

bridge. Check bulbs. Erase diagnostic trouble
