b) Resistance output “Ω”
The “Resistance Output” mode enables to select two DC resistance ranges.
0 - 500 Ω with a resolution of
0 - 100 mV
0 - 1000 mV
0 - 5000
Ω
0 - 500
Ω
0.1 Ω and
0 - 5000 Ω with a resolution
of 1 Ω.
Switch on the device and wait
until the operating display ap-
pears on the screen.
To switch to the Ω range, press
the “V/Ω” button (3) until the
desired range is displayed. The
range advances with each key-
stroke (100 mV -> 1000 mV ->
500 Ω -> 5000 Ω -> 100 mV ...). The resistance value can be set directly.
The four cursor buttons (5, 6, 12, 13) can be used to set the decimal place and the value. A point
or decimal place advances by briefly pressing the respective button.
The values can be set quickly by pressing and holding the cursor buttons for >1.5 s. The respec-
tive % values are called up (0%, 100% or in 25% increments).
Connect the red test lead to the “V/mV/Ω” socket (8) and the black test lead to the “COM”
socket (9).
Connect the test probes to the sensor input of the circuit.
The red test probe corresponds to the positive pole.
