Deleting statistical data
You can delete the statistical data (such as the measurement number (NUM), the average
(AVG), the minimum values (MIN) and the maximum values (MAX)).
• Press and hold the Clear button (5) for two seconds to delete all saved data. All statistical
data are reset to zero. Measuring can start again.
13. Calibrating the measuring device
•
Press and hold the confirmation button
(4) to switch to the desired calibration mode (zero
calibration
or two-point calibration
).
• The calibration mode is set as outlined above in section ‘e) Setting calibration mode’ in the
section ‘Menu settings’. Zero calibration and two-point calibration are available.

Carrying out zero calibration
• If you have selected zero calibration
, use an uncoated calibration disc for calibration.
•
If the following figure is shown on the LC display (2), place the sensor (8) directly on the
uncoated calibration disc. Wait for approx. 2 seconds before you lift the measuring device
off again.

• After lifting, a zero value is displayed. Calibration is complete.
1
Carrying out two-point calibration
• If you have selected two-point calibration
, use an uncoated calibration disc and place
the non-metallic layer thickness standard (of known thickness) over it.
• If the following image is shown on the LC display (2), place the sensor (8) directly on the
calibration disc with the standard layer thickness plate. Wait for approx. 2 seconds before
you lift the measuring device off again.
