longer than ½ second (shorter than 2 seconds).
The letters «OPF» stop flashing. The letters below «OPF» flash. Press and hold the
scroll key
longer than ½ second (shorter than 2 seconds), select the output
frequency, «50Hz» (output fixed to 50Hz and active converter mode) or «60Hz»
(output fixed to 60Hz and active converter mode) or «IPF» (inactive converter
mode and active normal mode).
③ Confirm the setting. After selection of the converter mode output frequency,
press and hold the function setting key
longer than ½ second (shorter than 2
seconds). The setting is confirmed now.
④ Exit the setting interface. Press and hold the function setting key
longer
than ½ second (shorter than 2 seconds), exit the setting interface and return to
main interface.
IPF
: UPS output frequency with the same frequency as the mains input.
50.0Hz
: UPS output frequency is fixed at 50.0Hz, independent of the mains input
frequency.
60.0Hz
: UPS output frequency is fixed at 60.0Hz, independent of the mains input
frequency.
TABLE 7 – Operating modes
Mode
Description
Graphic
LINE
mode
The green inverter LED lights.
When the input voltage of alternating current (AC) is in line with the working
conditions, then the UPS is operating in LINE mode, charging the battery and
protecting the load.
Battery
mode
The green inverter LED and the yellow battery LED are lighting, the buzzer beeps
once every 4 seconds. The red warning LED lights when beeping.
When mains power fails or is instable, the UPS switches directly to battery mode.
If the mains recovers, the UPS transfers to LINE mode.
If the battery low alarm becomes active, the indicator
flashes. When the
battery reaches its unloading limit, the UPS turns off to protect the battery. The
UPS will auto-restart when the mains recovers.
NOTE
: The backup time of battery mode depends on the load and the
number of battery packs (EBPs). The remaining battery time, displayed on LCD,
may not be accurate.
Bypass
mode
The yellow bypass LED lights. The buzzer beeps once every 2 minutes. The red
warning LED lights when beeping. The LCD display indicates the exact load and
battery capacity. The bypass tolerance can be set by LCD.
The bypass mode will be applied under the following conditions:
a) When the user sets the bPS at «ON» by LCD display, and when the user turns
the UPS off by the «OFF» key combination.
b) When the user turns the bPS on by LCD display, and when the user connects
the mains without pressing the «ON» key combination.
c) Overload in LINE mode or ECO mode.
NOTE
: When the UPS operates in bypass mode, it does not have a backup
function (the load is not protected).
ECO
mode
The green inverter LED and the yellow bypass LED are lighting.
When the input current is within the input range of ECO mode and the ECO
function starts, then the UPS is working in ECO mode. When the mains current
exceeds the ECO range several times successively within one minute, but remains
within the inverter input range, then the UPS operates automatically in inverter
AC mode.
The tolerance of mains current in ECO mode can be set.
