3.5.4 Monitoring of results
The screens with the results of the various types of measurement are presented in
a common area (bottom left) which includes the parameters used in the
measurement. These parameters are:
OD/OS:
Measure eye (Right / Left).
Sph., Cyl., and Axis:
The subjective refraction values entered by the user
before taking the measurement.
Examination conditions:
Method used to correct the eye being measured.
Artificial pupil diameter:
Artificial pupil diameter used in the measurement,
entered by the user.
Measured pupil diameter:
Patient’s pupil diameter measured by the
instrument. A value of 0.0 indicates that said diameter cannot be measured.
Best focus position:
Best spherical correction found via the Best Focus
sequence.
Selected focus position:
Spherical correction used in the measurement.
Only visible if it is different from the best focus position.
Acquisition notes:
Notes related to the acquisition carried out and entered
by the user. These notes can be later edited by the user.
The numerical results and the different available visualizations will depend on the
particular type of measurement being used. Next, the various elements in each of
the measurement types will be explained.
