. Data relating to the patient’s eye and refraction
It is important to enter correct values for the subjective refraction of the patient since,
when performing the Best Focus sequence, the system searches for the best
correction of the patient’s spherical refraction within a ±3D range around the
spherical equivalent of the subjective refraction entered by the user. If the values
entered are incorrect, the system will produce an erroneous spherical correction, in
turn making the rest of results incorrect as well.
The patient’s subjective refraction is needed to carry out the
Best Focus sequence.
If the patient’s refraction is ±3D over
the indicated results, said sequence may give out an
erroneous result.
