The system carries out increments of 0.5 D, taking double-pass images in each
position until reaching the final position. The recorded images are shown on screen
at all times.

Ask the patient to try to focus on the stimulus during the Depth
of Focus process. Otherwise the results may come out
incorrect.
Keep in mind that, at times, the patient will not be able to see the stimulus clearly
no matter how much it is accommodated. This happens when measurements are
taken with refractions higher than the
patient’s best correction.
