DRYING PROCES IN FOOD DEHYDRATOR
Drying (Dehydration) is a method of heating the food, which subsequently evaporates water. Many
foods release moisture very quickly in the first stage of drying, which means they can absorb a lot
of heat and create more steam. The main engine unit draws air that uniformly heats up to the set
temperature and then pushes it using the fan through the central opening into the dryer compartment.
The heated air dissipates in the individual drying levels to remove the moisture from the food. The
moisture-absorbed air is drawn through all the drying plates and goes out through the openings in the
top lid. Before time runs out, you can visually inspect dried foods by looking through the transparent
plates or by touch. snap. For the smoothest food drying process, we recommend replacing the order of
plates (top for bottom).
