Note
Install the fuel oil filter at the height of the lower edge of the boiler and
as near as possible to the boiler, to ensure the oil hoses are long
enough when removing the burner. The fuel oil filter may be fitted either
on the r.h. or l.h. side of the boiler to suit local conditions.
Side clearance for service work
For burner service, use the cleaning set available as an accessory.
The burner holder supplied as part of this set enables an optimum
service position to be achieved for the burner. In addition, a side clear-
ance of 300 mm (on the left or right) next to the Vitoladens 300-W is
recommended.
Variable speed heating circuit pump in the Vitoladens 300-W
The integral circulation pump is a high efficiency DC pump (corre-
sponding to energy label A) with more than 50% less power consump-
tion than conventional pumps.
The pump speed and consequently the pump rate is regulated subject
to the outside temperature and the switching times for heating or
reduced mode. The control unit transmits the current default speed via
an internal data BUS to the circulation pump.
Individually match the minimum and maximum speed plus the speed
for reduced mode to the existing heating system using the control unit
codes.
The minimum pump rate is selected in coding address "E7". The max-
imum pump rate is selected in coding address "E6". The setting ranges
of these codes are limited by boiler-specific parameters.
