Tasks for the system operator
DANGER
Smell of gas!
Risk to life due to explosion or
poisoning
► No naked flames; do not smoke.
► Shut down machine; switch on
ventilation.
► Leave the danger zone.
► Call maintenance service.
DANGER
Removal of the silencer hood panels!
Risk to life, serious personal injury
resulting in irreversible damage
► The silencer hood panels may only
be removed for repair and
maintenance by qualified and
authorised personnel.
► The complete enclosure of the
machine with the silencer hood
panels is necessary for protection
against fire, rotating parts, hot
surfaces and noise
WARNING
Breakages and leaks as a result of
engine damage or other mechanical
loads
Mechanical parts may be flung out.
Risk of splashing with hot water or
engine oil
Risk to life, serious personal injury
resulting in irreversible damage
► Wear personal protective
equipment (e.g. protective gloves,
safety goggles).
► When the machine is running, do
not remain in the plant room any
longer than necessary.
WARNING
Exhaust gas, water or oil leaks in the
CHP unit
Serious material damage to the
machine and its surroundings
► Pay particular attention to the safety
instructions in section 3.
► Call maintenance service.
Note
For the daily inspection of the CHP unit to check that
it is operating correctly, do not remain in the plant
room any longer than necessary and stay on the
operating (display) side of the CHP unit.

Check for leaks.

Check the displays and noise levels:
-
Operating mode display: "AUTO"
(Fig. 18, pos. 1).

"Ready" LED indicator:
Green "Ready" LED lights up if
automatic mode is operational and the
Lambda control valve is in the start position
(Fig. 18, pos. 2).

"Operating" LED indicator:
Green "Operating" LED lights up if
the engine is running and the generator
contactor has been activated.
(In "Operating" mode, both the "Ready" LED
and the "Operating" LED are lit up.)

Press the F2 function key to check the engine
values (Fig. 19).

Keep an operating log
– note down operating data
daily.
