Information regarding particular types of hazard
3.7.1 Thermal hazards
WARNING
In the event of a fault, safety pressure
limiters can be triggered and discharge
hot coolant!
Risk of scalding
► Take particular care in this area in
the event of faults!
► Wear personal protective
equipment (e.g. protective gloves,
safety goggles).
CAUTION
Pipework and components can
become hot during operation!
Risk of burns!
► Wear personal protective
equipment (e.g. protective gloves).
WARNING
Breakage and leaks due to load!
Risk of splashing with hot water or
engine oil

unit installation room if the silencer
hood is open during operation

Hazard due to radiation
DANGER
The generator's electromagnetic fields
can cause faults in active implants
(e.g. cardiac pacemakers)!
Circulatory collapse
► Observe prohibition signs.
► Do not enter the danger zone.

can heat up passive implants made of
metal!
Severe internal burns
► Observe prohibition signs.
► Do not enter the danger zone.
3.7.4
Hazards caused by materials and
substances
DANGER
Leaks in the gas and exhaust system
can cause gas to escape!
Risk of poisoning
► No naked flames.
► Ventilate the area adequately.
► If gas escapes, shut down the
machine and leave the danger
zone.
WARNING
Batteries contain sulphuric acid!
Risk of chemical burns
► Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
► Wear personal protective
equipment (e.g. protective gloves,
safety goggles).
