Evacuating the refrigerant lines and internal unit

Please note
Commissioning is weather-
dependent.
In the case of high relative humid-
ity or outside temperatures below
0 °C, please observe the follow-
ing:
■ Use nitrogen 5.0 for the pres-
sure test.
■ During evacuation, take suita-
ble steps to keep the surface
temperature of the refrigerant
lines
above
0 °C.
Danger
Direct contact with refrigerant
can cause skin damage.
Wear safety goggles and protec-
tive gloves when working on the
refrigerant circuit.

Please note
Before evacuating the refrigerant
lines and the internal unit, check
all connections for tightness with
leak detection spray.
Keep the valves on the external
unit shut, and fill the system with
nitrogen through the service
valve. The test pressure is the
max. permissible operating pres-
sure.
