Tap a fiber type to select it:
– multi mode
– single mode
Test Reference Method

Tap a reference method to select it:
– 1-chord
– 3-chord
Cable & Connector Settings
1. Open a drop down lists and tap the wanted entry:
– cable manufacturer
– cable name
– connector type
2. Select from top to down.
The availbale entries depend on the selection in the step before.
Test Limit
Set the test limit parameters.
1. First select the test limit preset:
– Link Validation
– 40GBASE-SR4
– 100GBASE-SR4
– 100GBASE-SR10
2. When Link Validation is selected set the following parameters:
– Length: length of fiber
– Extected Polarity:
- A: 1-1 ... 12-12
- B: 1-12 ... 12-1
- C: 1-2, 2-1 ... 11-12, 12-11
– Loss 1310nm: loss limit for wavelength 1310 nm
– Loss 1550nm: loss limit for wavelength 1550 nm
Select/Deselect fibers (Pass/Fail Fiber Selection)
Note: Deselected fibers are also measured and displayed in the result
pages but have no effect on the passed/failed summary.
1. Tap a fiber number to select or deselect it.
2. Tap [ DONE ] to confirm your settings.
Only the selected fibers are displayed in the menu button.
