Using your Viasat box
Installation
Connection method 2: To TV and VCR
If you have a VCR with a SCART connector and a TV with a SCART connector, you can
connect up as shown in the diagram below.

1. Use the supplied SCART lead to connect your box to your TV.
2. Use a SCART lead (not supplied) to connect your box to your VCR.
3. Connect the leads from your satellite dish to the satellite input connectors (marked
INPUT 1
and
INPUT 2
) on your box.
The RF connection is not required for digital satellite TV. However, you may wish to
connect RF leads as shown, to continue to view or record terrestrial TV from your TV
antenna.
You must then connect the lead from your TV antenna to the antenna input
connector (marked
AERIAL IN
) on your box. box.
