Zoom in and move the map to position the location marker (blue circle in the centre of
the screen) on the location you want:
- to zoom in: click “
- “ or “ + ” in the bar at the top of the screen to gradually zoom in on
the map, or click the bar to move it directly to the desired zoom level. The map system
offered on ViaMichelin Navigation X-980T includes 14 zoom levels.

To move the map: place the stylus on the map and move it in the direction you want.
•
Click “
Destination OK
” to confirm the location or “
Back
” to return to the previous
screen.
•
Click “
OK
” to start calculating the route.
•
Click one of the right-hand buttons to change one of the criteria or click “
Add Stage
” if
you want to add one or more stages to the journey to be calculated.

The Navigation screen is displayed once the route has been calculated. Start driving. The
voice guidance system will give you directions to your destination.
4.1.4. My Saved Addresses

Click “
My Saved Addresses
”.
•
You can search in the category of your choice:
- Family
- Friends
- Work
- Favourite addresses
- Miscellaneous
- My ViaMichelin

Click the category where the saved address you want is located. The number of saved
addresses is given in brackets beside each category.

Click the direction arrows to view all address categories saved on your ViaMichelin
Navigation X-980T.
•
Click the type of search you wish to perform:
- Name Search
- Search Near
