12.6. Uninstalling the programs

•

Insert the DVD-ROM into your PC’s DVD drive.

•

The installation procedure starts automatically: It detects the presence of the
programmes and prompts you:
- either to “

Add

” a new map set.

- or “

Repair

” the existing installation.

- or to “

Delete

” the existing software installation from your PC.

•

Tick “

Repair

” and click “

”. A confirmation message is displayed:

•

Click “

Yes

” to confirm that you want to delete the programs or “

” to return to the

previous screen.

•

Click “

End

” to close the window.

•

Disconnect the USB cable from your PC then from your ViaMichelin navigation X-980T.
