7.1.2 Putting into Operation
1. Igniting of the burner
- Open manual gas cock before putting the boiler into operation.
- Turn the regulation knob on the valve at the mark of igniting *
- Press the regulation knob and keep it pressed.
- Press the button of the piezoelectric ignitor and look through monitoring window at the igniting burner
if there is a flame.
- If there is no flame at the burner, press the button of the piezoelectric ignitor again.
- If there is a flame at the burner, keep the regulation knob pressed for about 20 seconds, release it
and check if there is still flame at the burner alight.
- If the flame expired when you released the regulation knob, repeat the whole igniting cycle.
- Turn the regulation knob anti clockwise to the mark of
. By that the valve is opened and the burner
is ignited.
- Gas inlet to the main burner can be stopped by turning the regulation knob clockwise to the mark *.
- Gas inlet to the igniting burner can be stopped by turning the regulation knob clockwise to the mark
•
.
2.
Set the igniting burner and adjust the thermal output power of the boiler according to the following
chapter no. 7.1.3.
3.
Execute the heating test.
7.1.3 Setting and Adjustment of Thermal Output Power of Boiler
1.
Measure input pressure of the gas.
2.
Connect the manometer (U-tube) at the measuring point of output gas overpressure at the gas valve.
Set the size of flame at the igniting burner:
-
Turn the regulation knob to the position of igniting * and ignite the burner by the piezoelectric ignitor.
-
Set the size of the flame by means of the screwdriver and the setting screw in order that it heated the
thermocouple and mV generator.
-
The flame size (volume of gas) decreases while turning clockwise and increase while turning
anticlockwise.
Procedure of output power setting for the boiler intended for burning of natural gas (SIT 820 NOVA
mV 0820303):
-
Turn the regulation knob to the position
(there is a flame at the igniting burner).
-
Set the needed gas overpressure at the gas pressure regulator at the valve by the internal regulation
screw. The gas overpressure increases while turning clockwise and decreases while turning
anticlockwise. The power output may be set according to customer requirement to a value according to
Table no.2 (every size can be set in the range stated in the Table 2)
-
If the set values do not comply with the required values, repeat the whole procedure.
