03. OPERATION OF THE MACHINE
06. ENGAGING THE SAFETY CLUTCH
DANGER! RISK OF INJURY!
Push the X-button at the machine head, the red light illuminates showing the active
“BLOCKED MODE“ , or turn the machine off.
Failure to comply produces a risk of injury in case of an unintentional machine
operation.
The safety clutch is integrated in the main drive module to protect the hook from damage.
Causes of damage could be for example thread jamming, needle breakage or incorrect operation.
If the safety clutch has released, perform the following procedure:
01. Turn the machine off at the main switch.
02. Remove the cause of the disorder.
03. Tilt the machine to the back, open the right cover to get access to the mechanical handwheel.
04. Take the 3 mm allen key of the accessories and stick it in screw

Turn the handwheel until the key is touching the machine housing (picture left).
05. Take the 5 mm allen key of the accessories and put it in the handwheel gap (picture right).
Turn the handwheel until the safety clutch is noticeably engaging.
06. Check the needle bar rise. (refer to chapter 03.12. of the adjustment manual).
If confirmed, the machine is ready for use again.
NOTICE!
Push the X-button or switch on the machine again and follow the instructions
displayed on the control panel.
