APG Application 

 

  The age of a blood vessel is determined by the elasticity of the blood vessel using APG. 

  The APG is expressed as a number from 1-8. The higher the number, the less elastic the vessel. 

 

 

 

CAUTION

 

 

APG measurements should only occur in patients with heart rates below 100 bpm. Heart 

Rates above 100 bpm are unable to be accurately compared. 

 

The APG measurement has not been validated and is only a tool for diagnostic assessments.
