2. Press the power button to start the inverter. Once the inverter is running normally, the UPS will switch from Bypass
to Normal operating mode and the run indicator (green) will remain on in the steady state. This completes the
procedure for restoring normal UPS operation.
5.9
Automatic Restart
In the event of a mains failure, the UPS draws power from the battery system to supply the load until the batteries are
depleted. When the UPS reaches its EOD threshold, it will shut down.
The UPS will automatically restart and provide output power to the load only when the following conditions are met:
1. The UPS Auto Restart function is enabled.
2. The Auto Restart delay has expired (default: 10s). During the Auto Restart delay period, the UPS will charge the
battery in order to provide a safety margin for equipment shut-down if the input power fails again.
3. If the Auto Restart function is disabled, you can restart the UPS manually by pressing the power button.
Note
During the automatic restart process, manual start-up is disabled. Automatic restart must be set-up by the Vertiv engineer using
the Vertiv configuration software.

The LCD menus are available in 13 languages.
