Configuring Quality of Service
Quality of Service (QoS) provides differentiated service levels for different
types of traffic packets, which guarantees delivery of priority services
especially when network congestion occurs.
► To configure QoS
1. In a web browser, type the IP address of the IP camera in the Address bar,
and then press ENTER.
2. Type the username and password.
3. Click
System > Network > QoS
.
4. In the
Video DSCP
box, type a value from 0 to 63.
5. In the
Audio DSCP
box, type a value from 0 to 63.
6. In the
Management DSCP
box, type a value from 0 to 63.
7. Click
Save
.
Note
To enable this function,the switches and routers in the network must support
QoS.
Configuring SNMP
► To configure SNMP
1. In a web browser, type the IP address of the IP camera in the Address bar,
and then press ENTER.
2. Type the username and password.
3. Click
System > Network > SNMP
.
4. Select one of the following:
Enable SNMP v1
Enable SNMP v2
5. In the
Read Community
box, type the name of the community name that
has read-only access to all supported SNMP objects. The default value is
public.
6. In the
Write Community
box, type the name of the community name that
has read / write access to all supported SNMP objects (except read-only
objects). The default value is write.
7. In the
Security Name
box, type a security name.
